Reclaimed Wood Is Often Higher-Quality Than Other Types Of Wood. Old trees from centuries past grew slower than today's virgin, freshly cut wood because forests used to be more dense and received less sunlight so the growth rings in the timbers were all much tighter than a tree you will find today.

Stability and Durability Reclaimed wood is stronger and more resistant to climate than new wood. Much of the wood we use for our reclaimed products originally came from old growth trees in virgin growth forests.
