Reclaimed wood is stronger and more resistant to climate than new wood. Much of the wood we use for our reclaimed products originally came from old growth trees in virgin growth forests.
What is the difference between reclaimed wood and regular wood?
Reclaimed wood is typically much older than its solid counterpart, often dating back to the 19th century. As a result, it's normal to expect some imperfections or structural kinks while working with it. On the other hand, virgin wood is typically much younger.
